Engaged by the Shareholder Executive of Dept of Business, Innovation & Skills as Retail Offer Adviser to develop and manage the retail offer, which included an Intermediaries Offer involving 60 Intermediaries and the UK Government's first online Direct Retail Offer (March to October 2013)

Seconded to VTB, Russia's 2nd largest bank, working with Renaissance Capital, to develop and manage the retail logistics for one of Russia's largest share offers (December 2006 to June 2007)

Engaged by the Department of Public Enterprises of the Government of South Africa, and seconded to J P Morgan and Deutsche Bank, its joint financial advisers, to assist in developing and managing the retail offer logistics for the sale of shares in Telkom SA (April to October 2001 and from August 2002 to May 2003)

Engaged by HSBC Investment Bank to advise them on their management of the UK retail tranche of the Deutsche Post pan-European share offer, through intermediaries (August to November 2000).

Engaged by HSBC Investment Bank to advise them on their management of the UK retail tranche of the DT3 pan-European share offer, through intermediaries (February to June 2000).

Engaged by the UK Department of Trade and Industry as Retail Offer Advisers and seconded to BZW, its financial adviser, to develop the retail offer structure and to manage the Share Shop scheme and retail offer logistics for the flotation of British Energy plc (July 1995 to September 1996); followed by advice to the Department on the collection of instalment payments and the issuing of bonus shares (to August 1999).

Engaged by the UK Department of Transport as Retail Offer Advisers and seconded to SBC Warburg, its financial adviser, to develop the retail offer structure and to manage the Share Shop scheme and retail offer logistics for the flotation of Railtrack PLC (April 1995 to August 1996); followed by advice to the Department on the collection of instalment payments and the issuing of bonus shares (to June 1999).

Engaged by the UK Treasury as Retail Offer Advisers and seconded to BZW and Kleinwort Benson, its joint financial advisers, to assist in developing the retail offer structure and to manage the Share Shop scheme and retail offer logistics for the second sale of shares in these two electricity companies (March 1994 to April 1995); followed by advice to HM Treasury on the collection of instalment payments and the issuing of bonus shares (to April 1998).

Assisted NatWest Markets (joint global co-ordinator) in the development and running of a new global bookbuilding system for the Australian government's second offer of shares in the Commonwealth Bank (September to December 1993).

Advised the Northern Ireland Department of Economic Development on the development of their electricity voucher scheme, the collection of instalment payments and the issue of bonus shares arising from the offer (September 1993 to July 1996).

Engaged by the UK Treasury as Retail Offer Advisers and seconded to S.G.Warburg & Co. Ltd., its financial adviser, to assist in developing the new, decentralised, Share Shop scheme and to manage the retail offer logistics for the sale of the third tranche of shares in British Telecommunications (January to September 1993); followed by advice to HM Treasury on the collection of instalment payments (to November 1994).

Engaged by the UK Treasury and seconded to S.G.Warburg & Co. Ltd., its financial adviser, to assist in developing the first Share Shop scheme and to manage the retail offer logistics for the sale of the second tranche of shares in British Telecommunications (July 1991 to January 1992); followed by advice to the Treasury on the collection of instalment payments (to April 1993).

Secondment to BZW, financial advisers to the UK government (Scottish Office), to manage the retail offer logistics for the sale of the two Scottish electricity companies (March to July 1991); followed by advice to the Scottish Office on electricity voucher schemes, the collection of instalment payments and the issuing of bonus shares (to July 1994).

Secondment to Kleinwort Benson, financial advisers to the UK Department of Energy, to manage the retail offer logistics for the two offers of fourteen English electricity companies (March 1990 to March 1991); followed by advice to the Department on the collection of instalment payments and the issuing of bonus shares (to March 1994).

Secondment to Schroders, financial advisers to the UK Department of the Environment, to assist in the management of retail offer logistics for the sale of ten water supply companies (September 1989 to January 1990).
